Qatar 2022 Super Fan Competition – My application(s)

Hello, David here, a world traveler/explorer, a football fan in general, a FIFA World Cup™ fan in particular, France being my national team, a FIFA Fan Movement member, and a content creator (blogging on social media about travels and football, all in a feelgood way)

I’ve read about the Super Fan Competition organized by Qatar’s Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, for a chance to be there for all the excitement of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ Draw, joining a delegation of fans for the experience of a lifetime in Doha, including a round-trip flight, four nights’ accommodation and a host of planned activities
This sounds so much like something I’m meant for, something meant for me!

I not only believe that Qatar deserves to be better known, but I know it as a fact, since I was lucky to be there in 2016 for a week… and I can’t wait to be back
Actually, full disclosure, my camera stopped working after just a day I was in Qatar (because of sand getting in) so most my pictures and videos were taken with an old smartphone, hence I can’t wait to get more proper shots; and also I wasn’t a blogger at that time, so I didn’t post about my lovely time around
I would now love to let the world know more about Qatar country and World Cup to come, starting by showing why fans should definitely go
How fun the FIFA World Cup will be, for the first time happening in such a small location, making it so convenient for fans to move around, attend games, and celebrate all together
But also how Qatar is worth visiting, with lots of surprises to discover, and a very welcoming population

This is why in addition to attending the World Cup (which I know I will since December 2, 2010), I would love to attend my first ever FIFA Men’s World Cup Draw, that will make the tournament one (giant) step closer, much more concrete for every football fan out there, building on the excitement
And also to get to visit Qatar with you all, connecting with like-minded football fans and stakeholders, and learning even more about the country so I can tell fans from France and around the world, through my social media and media in general, why they should absolutely go and grab this once in a lifetime opportunity

Now you asked candidates to demonstrate how they meet one of three criteria you mentioned
Well, I actually believe I match them all
This is why I’ve decided to take on all 3 challenges, with a page dedicated to each of them:
